Travel, detours & the life between

Matt and Misty with the New York City skyline behind them

Hello from Misty & Matt

Two people. Plenty of interests. One shared address.

Room4Two began in 2011 as our shared corner of the internet: part road journal, part family album, and part running account of the plans that did—and absolutely did not—work out.

Travel remains a big part of the archive, but it is not the edge of our world. Matt’s cars, shows, machines, and creative projects belong here. So do Misty’s perspectives on social work, leadership, consulting, and practice. Room4Two is the personal editorial home that connects those threads without trying to turn every outside project or professional resource into the same website.

Start at the beginning
01

Take the long way

The best parts usually happen between the itinerary items.

02

Follow the interest

A car show, a difficult question at work, or dinner somewhere new can all begin a good story.

03

Leave a useful trail

When another site is the better destination, we point readers there clearly and keep this journal personal.
