M and M: No Reservations
When Matt and I started traveling together in 2001, we generally took two vacations a year, going to a set destination and doing everything we could to squeeze in a ton of activities during our time there. We visited many places this way-LA, New York, Washington D.C., Florida, The Bahamas, New Orleans, Mexico (on a cruise of course), etc. We were your typical tourists and that all seemed great, but most of you know Matt, so operating under the same status quo as 99% of the general population is not really in the man’s ability. I mean this with complete love, and in all seriousness, Matt is truly an amazing person with enormous visions, goals, and expectations, so managing a life with him is not for the faint of heart. I’ve somehow managed to do this for 20 years, so I’d like to think I’ve become pretty good at it, but just when I think that, he throws a new thing in there and we are off on some other crazy life adventure operating like the other 1% of the population that cannot even be named because they are such odd, rare people. In 2010, Matt decided we were going to try adventure touring (usually a term used in reference to motorcycle adventures) and head out in our tiny Mazda Miata for a three week trip to the west coast. Many of you all have been graciously following Room4two.com since that initial trip and we’ve loved having you all along the way. In eight years, you’ve been through many of these adventures with us where we’ve embraced this crazy traveling lifestyle where agendas and reservations are just not allowed. Since that time, our trips have increased in duration, decreased in expectations, and have become our way of exploring every possible inch of this world before we kick the bucket. So, in all out Matt and Misty fashion, we’d like to invite you all to come along with us as we take room4two.com on our next epic adventure….around the world!
